Landscaping the New Community Building

The city of Pikeville recently built a new Community Complex, but they did not have funds to landscape around the new building. So the 4-H'ers in the Cattle Kids Association stepped in. After receiving permission from the city to do the project, the youth got estimates on the needed materials, planned what they would do, and got to work. They learned things like teamwork, communication skills, cooperation, landscaping techniques, leadership and citizenship.
