Character
Education Skits
Sixteen
junior high 4-H'ers presented songs and skits to teach the six pillars
of good character--trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness,
caring, citizenship--to McNairy County 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders.
The 4-H'ers strengthened their own character as they learned the songs
and skits. They also reported that they became more serious and took
on responsibility in the performances. One Character CAT said she learned
"that young people look up to us and your character really does
count!"
