Leadership and Character Development Camp The Giles County Honor Club sponsored Leadership and Character Development Camp for junior high students. Their goals were to 1) build strong leaders for the Giles County 4-H program; 2) provide recreation time for 6th-8th graders; 3) tp teach good character. The Honor Club members learned more about their own character and leadership styles, and 100% of the campers reported that the camp taught them about being a good leader. Everyone at the camp also participated in another service learning project: Project U.S., the activity coordinated for State 4-H Congress, to send items and letters of support to American troops in Afghanistan.
