If you answered yes to these questions, a camp staff position at Buford Ellington 4-H Center may be the right summer job for you.  Every year several people are hired to work as summer staff. Many of them  attended camp here themselves, later  become teen leaders and came back in their college years to give other campers the benefit of their knowledge and experience.  The following positions are available:

Lifeguard:  Must have American Red Cross lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid certification (or equivalent) and the ability to teach and practice positive leadership.  Three positions available.

Snack Shack Attendant:  Knowledge of inventory, sales and cash management.

Wildlife Leader:  Knowledge in the field of wildlife conservation.

Maintenance Worker:  All around knowledge of plumbing, painting, and lawn care.

Crafthouse:  Must be creative and familiar with inventory and sales.  Three positions are available: T-Shirt Shop, Leather House, and Beads and Bottles. 

Program Assistant:  Must be able to do multiple tasks and work closely with 4-H Agents in conducting the camp program.

All positions come with on-site housing and meals while on duty.  All positions require the ability to be flexible and hardworking, with the potential for overtime.  Applications can be printed from the links below.  Acrobat Reader is required.  Application deadline is February 1st.
