MEET THE STATE 4-H STAFF! - KAY HODGE
We want you to know more about the people who work in the state
4-H office. We will be featuring a different staff member each week
in Ideas. Keep reading to find out about another one of our
team.
Kay Hodge is beginning her seventh year as the accounting clerk
for the Tennessee 4-H Foundation. Prior to employment at the University
of Tennessee, she was in the private sector working in accounting,
credit and collections and office administration, mainly in the
construction industry.
She is currently working with Mark Gateley, Executive Director
of the Foundation; Tim Fawver, Treasurer of the Foundation; Alice
Ann Moore, Assistant Director, 4-H Youth Development; and all Extension
personnel across the state regarding Foundation financial matters.
Kay and her husband, Harry, live in the Fountain City area of Knoxville.
Harry is a native of Sevier County and they met on a blind date
while students at UT. They are parents of two children, Jeff and
Janet, both of the Knoxville area. Jeff is in management with CINTAS
Corporation, a uniform services company. Janet is in financial management
with the Tennessee Valley Authority.
In her leisure time, Kay enjoys travel, country music and fishing.
But the true JOY of her life is spending time with their three grandchildren,
Nick, Jordan and Alex, who live close enough to spoil.
