NATIONAL 4-H WEEK KIT NOW AVAILABLE

National 4-H Week is October 5-11, 2003. The 2003 National 4-H Week kit is now available both as a compact disc and online so that 4-H staff, volunteers and members can prepare their public relations materials for the week-long celebration of 4-H. The kit was mailed as a compact disc to all county and state 4-H offices in late July. The kit also is available online at 4hweekkit.fourhcouncil.edu. The kit contains resources for planning events, increasing publicity and working with media. It includes graphics, songs, photos, brochures, bookmarks, PSAs, newspaper ads and more. Many of the items on the kit are customizable, so they can be tailored to your local program.

The kit is intended for use by anyone promoting National 4-H Week. The kit was produced by the National 4-H Council marketing team in collaboration with the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents (NAE4-HA) Public Relations and Information Committee’s 2003 National 4-H Week Kit Task Force. For more information about the National 4-H Week Kit, visit the Web site
