MADISON COUNTY FIRST TO REGISTER ELECTRIC CAMP DELEGATES
Congratulations to Madison County on being the first to register 4-H’ers for Electric Camp. Registration is online and may be accessed at: https://ext1.ag.utk.edu/4H/electricRegist.nsf. Check with your regional office for information regarding specific registration deadlines for your region.

REGIONAL WINNERS NAMED IN STATE 4-H CONGRESS ESSAY CONTEST
Each year, Tennessee 4-H Congress delegates write an essay on the state theme. This year’s theme is “4-H: Your Adventure Awaits.” The state winner will be chosen from among the following three regional winners and announced at the Monday night assembly in the War Memorial Auditorium beginning at 8:30 p.m..
Western Region - Harris Laughrey, Carroll County
Central Region - Jordan Kelley, Coffee County
Eastern Region - Sarah Ransom, Johnson County |
Each regional winner will receive a pen and pencil set and a $50 savings bond. The state winner’s award will be a desk set. You can read the winning regional essays at 4h.tennessee.edu/stcong/essay/.

STILL TIME TO NOMINATE YOUR OUTSTANDING 4-H ALUMNI
There is still time to nominate a deserving 4-H alumnus to be considered for the State Outstanding 4-H Alumni Award which will be presented during Tennessee 4-H Congress. Please take a moment to nominate someone from your county to receive this award. The nomination deadline has been extended until March 25. The nomination form is located on the Tennessee 4-H Web site at 4h.tennessee.edu/forms&materials/. Click on the “Recognition (Adult)” link.
