ROUNDUP SERVICE PROJECT A HUGE SUCCESS

Delegates to the 88th Tennessee 4-H Roundup and All Star Conference helped improve the lives of West Tennessee school children through their generosity and care. As part of the Roundup service project, Tennessee 4-H members collected over 850 school supplies to be provided to school children in Dyer County, an area tremendously affected by recent flooding along the Mississippi River. This service project was known as "Mississippi Rising: 4-H Responding." Special thanks to all counties who collected items for this project. To see the UTIA news video about the project, please visit www.agriculture.utk.edu/news/VideoReleases/1108_schoolsupplies.htm.
