2008
- State 4-H Congress delegates brought new or lightly used DVDs and CDs for the "Tune 4 Troops" project. All donations received were sent to military troops serving our country throughout the world
2009 - The theme for the service project was "Our Hands to a Larger Service." Delegates collected crayons and coloring books for the Children's Miracle Network and recreational items for the Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation senior citizens programs.

2007 - Delegates to the 60th Tennessee 4-H Congress used "Our Hands Helping Their Hands" to provid scarves, mittens, gloves and/or hats to area shelters and agencies. The donations helped to replenish their stock of items for the winter season. 2006 - State 4-H Congress delegates brought "Critters of Comfort" (stuffed animals) to be donated to the Nashville Metro Police Department to help them when they respond to youth in times of crisis.

2005 - State 4-H Congress delegates kicked off Tennessee's Operation Military Kids initiative by collecting disposable cameras for military families. 2004 - Delegates donated items such as sleepers, baby lotion and diapers for the neonatal intensive care unit at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

2003 service project
2002 service project
2003 - The project focused on the troops stationed in the Middle East. 4-H'ers, volunteer leaders and Extension staff brought in over 16,000 toiletry items for there dedicated men and women. They also brought international phone cards and sent cards. 2002 - Over 300 delegates, volunteers and Extension staff donated 6,532 items and 542 cards/letters for Project Unlimited Support. The items were sent to our troops stationed overseas and families at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

2001 - Delegates collected more than 525 children's books for the Metro Action Commission in support of Governor Don Sundquist's reading initiative. 2000 - Participants in the Salvation Army's Red Shield Initiative were happy to receive the school supplies, recreational equipment and tutoring supplies.

1999 service project
1999 - Congress officers delivered beanie babies brought by the delegates to Nashville's Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
