Delegates to the 2009 State 4-H Roundup are asked to collect emergency preparedness items to benefit West Tennessee families affected by disasters. These items will be sorted and placed into emergency preparedness kits at 4-H Roundup and distributed to local agencies serving families in need during natural disasters, house fires, etc. Each region is being asked to collect and bring specific items.
Western Region:
* Garbage bags
* Paper towels
* Permanent markers
Central Region:
* Band-aids/gauze (all sizes)
* Sponges
* Zip-loc bags (all sizes)
Eastern Region:
* Masking tape
* Soap (consider asking local hotels to donate)
* Washcloths (new) |
