Personal Finance Training for Teachers
UT Extension is an approved provider by the Department of Education of the required certification in the new subject matter of Personal Finance. Extension educators are offering 2 day workshops across the state which will provide the certification required by teachers to teach personal finance.

Financial Readiness For The Early Grades
The Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions has provided a generous grant that will allow Tennessee Jump$tart to conduct a series of workshops around the state called "Financial Literacy for the Early Grades." As part of this program, participants will learn more about curriculum that is available to teach personal finance as well as find out more about organizations that have programs/resources focused on elementary education.

Money Crunch
Financial management course to teach young employees, aged 18 to 24, how to budget, build wealth, plan for their goals, and save money for investment

Bankruptcy Counseling and Education
Counseling is provided to help individuals and families assess their assets and liabilities and determine an appropriate course of action to discharge debt. Bankruptcy Education is provided to help people who have filed personal bankruptcy acquire skills for more effective financial management.
