Cotton Production

Cotton is an indeterminate crop grown as an annual and requires a unique level of management.  Cotton is grown on a multitude a soil types and under many different environments in Tennessee.  Rolling hills, creek bottoms and alluvial flood plains make Tennessee cotton production a challenge.  Since Tennessee is on the Northern edge of the Cotton Belt, growers show a particular interest in earliness management.  This website provides up to date information about all aspects of cotton production.
