Dr. Savoy serves as the Soil Fertility Specialist at The University of Tennessee.  Producers and other agricultural professionals are the primary clientele of his extension program.  He provides technical support for the Soil Testing Laboratory in Nashville (see http://bioengr.ag.utk.edu/soiltestlab) and conducts a state wide educational program in the area of soil testing and the efficient use of lime and fertilizer materials in Tennessee cropping systems.
