UT Extension established the MANAGE Program in 1986 to expand the delivery of Farm Financial Management and Marketing Educational Programs to Tennessee farm families.  Nine Farm Management Area Specialists are located across the state serving all 95 Tennessee counties.  Click here for map of areas.  There is no cost to participating farm families and all information is confidential.

One-on-one work with individual farm families using the FINPACK Computer Farm Analysis for intensive farm planning is a major focus of the MANAGE Program.  FINPACK was developed by the Center for Farm Financial Management at the University of Minnesota.

Area Specialists also assist farm families with marketing crops and livestock, partial budgeting, record keeping, computer record keeping, computer applications to farm management, enterprise analysis, new enterprise development, government farm program decisions, risk management, forward pricing of farm commodities, family living expense records, lease determinations, break-even analysis, feed ration cost, contract livestock production, equipment economics, and more.

John Campbell serves a nine county area that includes Decatur, Giles, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Marshall, Maury, Perry, and Wayne Counties.
