Broad Agency Announcement

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

Information:

This Broad Agency Announcement is soliciting application from eligible applicants for conducting conferences, workshops, and/or meetings.

Deadline:

In order for a proposal to be considered for funding, it must be received by EPA no later than three months prior to the start of the conference for which the applicant is requesting EPA funding under this BAA and no later than January 18, 2007.

Methyl Bromide Transitions (MBT)

Agency:

CREES Integrated Research, Education & Extension Competitive Grants Program

Information:

The program is focused on commercial or field scale (not small plot) research that targets short-to-medium-term solutions that will develop new alternatives or that will minimize methyl bromide emissions.

Minority and Specialty Crop Integrated Pest Management Program

EPA's Office of Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances (OPPTS) announces the availability of up to $615,000 to address critical pest management needs of U.S. minor and specialty crop growers.

Biotechnology Risk Assessment Research Grants Program

Agency:

Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES)

Information:

The purpose of the USDA Biotechnology Risk Assessment Grants (BRAG) Program is to assist Federal regulatory agencies in making science-based decisions about the effects of introducing genetically modified organisms into the environment. Investigations of effects on both managed and natural environments are relevant.
