To our fellow 4-H alumni:
High school graduation has now
come and gone along with as many as eight or nine
wonderful years as an active 4-H member. There is no
doubt your 4-H experiences have left you with many tools
that will be useful for years to come.
Support from past 4-H members is
crucial for this exemplary youth organization to
continue to provide opportunities for young people to
develop into responsible, productive adults. Involvement
in the Tennessee 4-H Foundation is the perfect avenue to
being an active influence on the future of 4-H.
The mission of the Tennessee 4-H
Foundation is to create and sustain positive youth
development opportunities for 4-H youth in Tennessee.
The Tennessee 4-H Foundation solicits and supplies
monetary support for numerous 4-H actives including
Roundup and State 4-H Congress. The Foundation has just
completed a $2
million endowment campaign for 4-H. This will endow many county,
district and state 4-H programs and activities.
Additionally, the 4-H Foundation supplies leadership and
motivation for the Extension staff as well as volunteer
leaders. The Foundation keeps its members informed of
events, activities, and ongoing processes effecting the
future of 4-H.
Many adults "give back to 4-H what
it has given to them" by becoming a member of the
Tennessee 4-H Foundation. As a recently graduated 4-H
Honor Club member, the Foundation would like to give you
a one year free membership. This is an excellent and
rewarding way to stay active in 4-H and to be
influential in its ongoing success.
You are an important part of the
future of 4-H! We hope you chose to stay involved!
If you graduated this spring
as a 4-H Honor Club member, we invite you to complete an
